Art can mimic reality so well sometimes that you can barely tell which is real and which is art. Such is the case with Lil Mo’s real-life Break Up to Make Up story with her husband, which plays out on this season’s Love and Hip Hop New York AND in her video with Vain called, “Break Up to Make Up.”

Lil Mo is currently in the headlines for the recent visit to Couples Court with her husband. Not to mention all the drama that has been playing out in this season’s Love and Hip Hop New York. With the allegations of her husband’s cheating, their son reading the blogs, therapy sessions and SO MUCH MORE!!

Vain is best known for his videos and collaborations with Jim Jones, Red Cafe, DJ Jazzy Joyce and Slim of 112. Vain and Lil Mo do not disappoint with this Classic Love Story.

"Paradise" is an introspective trip into the mind of Produkt, a seasoned hip-hop veteran from The Bronx. Produkt has built a name for himself over the years as a street-smart lyricist with a lot of range as an artist. "Paradise" is a single from Produkts most recent effort "Change The Frequency" which is available now on all major streaming platforms. The single is backed by a black and white visual that flawlessly captures the essence of Produkts energy on this record. The gritty imagery in Produkts lyrics are a testament to his life experiences and the very skeletal, jazzy instrumental gives the emcee enough space to eloquently deliver his rhymes.


Produkt raps "Troubled youth, but a stargazer/ philly blunts til the stars gave up, concrete heat through the streets, the scars caged us, Mobb Deep beats on repeat the stars raised us" it is clear that Produkt comes from the golden-era of New York hip-hop and his authenticity is on full display here. Although the verses may be tackling a lot of the hardships of Produkts reality, the hook on this is very motivational and triumphant which gives an overall positive feel to the theme of this record. This record is backed by an undeniable hook with a melody that is as infectious as Kayana's personality on this record. "All Night Long" is definitely an anthem for anyone looking to function as the title implies but there is much more layers to Kayana's character than just partying. Ziico Niico is a bubbling sensation coming out of The Bronx, NY. The French Montana affiliate was first introduced to hip-hop over a year ago with his single "That Bag" a song that transcends both the NYC streets and the club scene into mainstream media with over 800,000 views on YouTube. Unfortunately, Ziico Niico is fighting a case for conspiracy charges, which has been a difficult obstacle thrown his way while trying to reach the next level in his career. However, Niico has still been able to release projects such as "I'm Heem" and "Zaddy Heem" as well as placements with Bronx legend French Montana. The charisma and persona behind Ziico Niico is very intoxicating and organic to his Uptown roots, he is definitely someone to look out for coming out of NYC if he is able to get passed all of his legal troubles. Hajji BlackStone delivers on a visual for his new single "Hot Sauce" featuring Kogniak. This Afrobeat banger is backed by a hypotizing instrumental from producer Dusty Productions. The chemistry between Hajji and Dusty is clear on this record where they provide deeply rooted cultural influences in a way that comes off very natural. The autotune-driven hook is enough to catch the listeners ear, but it is the well put together verses that string this track together. It is clear that Hajji has mastered his pen game with lyrical mechanics that reflect more of a east coast emcee rather an Afrobeat singer. Director ReelEyeCons does a great job of bringing this song to life with imagery that perfectly captures the essence of the record. Bouncing back and forth from the big city to a beautiful waterfall, this video documents the lavish lifestyle of Hajji BlackStone.
